Amplify your voice and drown out your inner critic through Gateless Writing, an empowering communal writing practice that combines Zen mindfulness and creative neuroscience.
Join me on Thursday, April 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET for a virtual Gateless Writing salon. During this two-hour salon, you will receive an introduction to the Gateless Writing method, center yourself with a brief meditation, spend 20 to 25 minutes writing in community, and have the opportunity to share your work in a structured, supportive feedback circle. The cost of this workshop is $50 per person.
I can’t wait to write with you!
Here's what past attendees had to say about their experience with Gateless:
“Meg cultivated such an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. I was nervous to share my work as I thought it was awful, but I'm glad I did in the end because I never felt judged or bad about it. The opposite, actually; I felt inspired and ready to write more after participating and receiving the feedback. I also enjoyed the opportunity to give feedback as well.” – Carmen, Writer
“I loved the meditation part. It helped frame the future mindset and help me focus on a tone or idea that came to my mind. I even got a little emotional as I wrote my piece, because of how freeing it felt to write about whatever came to my mind, instead of whatever I had planned in advance.” – M.E. Hansen, Thriller Indie Author
“Very well organized, great leadership from the facilitator... In short order she created a safe and productive creative space. Everyone got attention and it was stunning to see how much was created in this compact session. Listening to the writing of everyone else broadened and deepened my own understanding of the writing craft. It was my first time writing something and sharing it out loud in that way. It was thrilling.” – Marnee Bruno, Executive and Team Leadership
“It made me feel very uplifted about my writing for the first time in quite a long while — which was heartbreaking in all the best ways. My creativity has been undernourished and this salon had the itch returning, so I absolutely hope to make this a recurring activity!” – Kharysa Watt, Writer and Editor
