And words are kind of my thing.
I followed my love of words to France, where I got to experience the joy of seeing primary school students embrace a new language. I followed my love of words into journalism, a profession that allowed me to learn so much about the world and the people in it. Now, I follow my love of words onto the pages of books written by authors like you, and there is truly nothing more fulfilling than helping them share their stories with the world.
If my years of experience in journalism, marketing, and publishing have taught me anything, it’s that there’s no single “right” way to be a writer. That’s why my approach to editing is always collaborative rather than prescriptive, prioritizing your vision as the author over unwritten rules that have too often kept marginalized voices from being heard.
